Recycle This
I’ve finally dropped off my bag of shirts, skirts, sweaters and kicks at Recycle Boutique on Cuba Street.
The lovely staff were very helpful and it took about five minutes to create my sellers account.
The basics:
- They’ll sort through my bag of goodies and pick the items they want
- They’ll flick me an email listing all my items and their prices
- For four weeks my items sell at full price, then drop to half price for two weeks
- Finally those items left hit the bargain rack and if they don’t sell I can choose to pick them up or let them go to charity
What a fabulous idea! Everything in my bag was heading to the charity shop anyway, but this way I might be able to make a little holiday pocket change.
I’m now a life member committed to recycling my fashionable clothes I’m bored with, and giving them a new style on someone else.
